AGM is the first company in Australia providing a comprehensive DFMA service specifically for modular builders, combining structural engineering, FrameCAD design, BIM modelling, detailing, and file-to-factory documentation under one roof.

We bring over 40 years of combined experience in Modern Methods of Construction, with a mission to elevate the industry through clarity, certainty, and advanced design systems that accelerate how buildings are created.

Our Story

AGM was founded by Damien Crough and Dao Pham, long-time leaders in modular construction who share a deep commitment to transforming how Australia builds.

About

Damien Crough

Damien is one of the most influential figures in Australia’s offsite construction landscape. He is the Founding Director and Executive Chairman of PrefabAUS, the country’s peak industry body for offsite construction.

In 2007, he worked with architect Nonda Katsalidis and the Hickory Group to develop and commercialise the Unitised Building™ system, one of Australia’s earliest and most recognised modular innovations.

In 2014, Damien founded the Advanced Offsite Group, supporting clients to adopt and scale offsite technologies.

AGM was established in 2022 as the next evolution — a company able to deliver highly coordinated, DFMA-driven modular design and engineering for builders ready to scale with confidence.

Dao Pham

Dao brings exceptional technical depth in structural engineering, FrameCAD design, and modular detailing.

His experience spans mass-build developments, repeated modules, early-stage modular consultancy, and high-volume file-to-factory workflows.

Dao’s background includes guiding traditional builders through the transition to modular construction, designing efficient modular systems, and building BIM-coordinated workflows that reduce cost, uncertainty, and delays.

Together, Damien and Dao created AGM to provide a truly end-to-end DFMA solution that supports builders across every stage of modular delivery.
